The man in the mirror

by Ollie Shelbourne
(Guildford, England)

The man in the mirror is ashamed
but he only has himself to blame.
It is he who chose to be a crook,
he went around reading a book
with nobody knowing what he took.
He could not keep it to himself no more
he had to tell someone
and that's when he thought
if I don't tell now I will be sent
down to the dreaded town of horror
where he knew they would not tolerate
his only bother.
But know he is there staring into
the cracked broken mirror of hell
