The Spider's Revenge

by Morgan Davies
(Wales)

The creeping, the crawling, Waiting for attack,
Today is the day that the spider strikes back.
Secretly spinning a web for it's nest,
Then along comes a fly, and it's put to the test.
The fly, it get's tangled, but the spider stay's still,
It waits for a moment, then goes in for the kill.
The fly, it accepts that it's there just for dinner,
Today is the day that the spider is winner.
