He looked at her like she was the beautiful night sky,
where an iridescent moon hung,
the space around filled with the prettiest of stars;
she looked at him like he was the perfect sunny day,
the kind where the sun is hot but not scorching,
with the wind just right,
no clouds on the horizon;
yet they both thought the other was staring at the cold hard ground.
