This is Me

by Ravyn
(PA)

Deep down inside me
Where no one can see
I'm blue, blue as the deep ocean sea
There's a girl deep inside that feels all alone
And she's trying to fix a heart that's becoming unsewn
Wondering what I could have done to deserve
All of the things in my life that have occurred
But I put on a smile so no one will know
The real girl deep inside that I will never let show

Reminds me of myself, however, I'm a great believer in serendipity!

can I use part of poem in a book?
by: paul

We are writing a book on childhood pain,. Your poetry crystallizes those somatic feelings. Can we get permission to use part of This is me?

I LOVE It
by: Anonymous

I love your poem. It is sad, unique, and is really easy to understand. I love the wording, and you really put a lot of feeling in it. I usually leave a suggestion, but yours was amazing.

by: innocent shamboko

The words had me quiet for a minute and had me speechless without a word to say, because they went straight through my heart and touched my soul..very deep words.
