Three Angels

by Pauline Harley
(Dublin Ireland)

Three angels came to her bedside one day
They said she was looking weary
They did not think that she should stay
Her time was ending clearly
She thought of her daughter for awhile
She said “I do not want to leave her for she is my only child”
They told her not to worry that in time she would be fine
They did not think she would want her mum to suffer and decline
They showed her family members all waiting by her bed
They had their arms all open wide
“Come with us they said”
Her brother mum and father all walked her to the door
The three angels went behind her
Her life on earth was no more

Nicely Done. I love the imagery this poem brings to my mind's eye.
