threshold

by anna farrell

Beneath the Veil
The pink and white blossoms are aglow
With a soft ephemeral light,
Whose radiance pierces the heart
With a stream of loving energy.

The white, billowing clouds trail across
A blue sea, luminous and vast.

The veil between worlds grows thin
At the threshold where
earth and sky meet
I offer
Thee O Holy Mother
Of unfathomable power and grace
my heart.
