Title Leaf

Title Leaf

At first we laughed,
A future brave and bright
Climbed her back.

Sat atop a mountain with
Threaded thoughts that
Would calm a train

Thicket not so fickle
When morning
came.

I can only miss You
when you file your
Life in a letter my way.
