To the one who gave me life
And taught me how to survive
I give thanks and send a hug.

I remember and appreciate
All the sacrifices that you made
You shall be cherished and remembered my whole life long.

The years have come and gone
But your love, care and selflessness carry on
The things you have done motivate me to be strong.

Mother, Dear loving mother
I know you did the best you could
And I am very, very thankful.
