Touch

by Amanda Blanchard
(North Carolina)

tingles run down my spine with every flitting touch of your hand -
your long fingers grace the edge of my skin making me yearn for more -
I look to see your eyes, so soft and loving
I almost cannot bear them!
the golden light casts shadows on your beauty
yet through the darkness I still see all I need to see
and see more with each touch than eyes will ever know
