True pain

by The Raven's Death Angel

She stands there silent,
As he disappears into the darkness,
Now nothing will ever be right.

A sharp pain rips through her heart,
He has finally given up on her and,
Life has no restart.

No one will ever know how much she really cared,
What she really feared,
For now she knows her end is near.

She smiles ,and takes the hand of the Death Angel,
For he is her only friend now.

She starts to slowly fade away,
The Death Angel says,
"Now there is no more pain,
No more fear,
Please follow me my dear."
