Tsu Lin's Forest Poem

by Tsu Lin
(Malaysia)

Gurgle, Gurgle
Went the river splashing around the place.

Rustle, Rustle
The bushes rubbing against the ground.

Step, Step
Went the footsteps of animals.

Flap, Tweet
Birds flying by like paper blowing in the breeze.

Woosh, Woosh
The wind blows.

Everything so peaceful, until…….

Thomp, Thomp
A huge figure came.

Roar, Roar
Its roar sounded like thunder.

Then suddenly…
Its snout came out then its huge figure came out.
It was just a bear.
Drinking near the river!

And everything is so peaceful again.
