UNDERSTANDING MY DAD'S DEATH

by Ruthann Tassinari
(LYNN,MA (the good old U.S.A.))

I guess I don't understand WAR it's true,
all the DEATH'S make me BLUE
my father was in WWII
he fought @ a young age
the persecution of JEWS was his RAGE
he died on April 9th, it was his time, that was another rhyme
I don't think he understood me
I just wanted everyone to be free,
including your sexuality!!!
I did not KILL him I know
it was his time to go.
