WHAT'S TO BE

by GEORGE
(CALIFORNIA)

My wife Jo always told me
What's to be will be
She had that right
the lady sure was bright..

She also said don't worry
Trust the Lord Almighty
say a little prayer
And He'll be there to share.

Wise beyond her years
she knew how to banish fears
Love is blind so was she
Amazing what she could see.

Alzheimers took her from me
I'm sad, but I'm not lonely
I hold her in my memory
recalling, what's to be will be..

WHAT'S TO BE
by: Mary

Emotional - I truly enjoyed the sentiments of this poem - written with pain, grief and yet sparked with HOPE, as you remember your wife's loving words. May God Almighty give you peace in your heart. Thank you for sharing.

I know the pain of which you speak...your words say it all.
The saddest time when the love of our life goes missing... I published a poem in an International Coffee Table Book titled...
" Missing the You I Knew "
