Wish What You Will

by Trinket_Writer

Jagged edges against the wall
..some wide, thin, short, and tall.

Stories they tell in shadowed variations
..a reflection distorted, twisted to occasion.

Light shifts the story as one reads along
..characters morph, weak become strong.

Create it yourself, will it be happy or sad?
..will it be children or just mom and dad?

Flowers dancing to the blowing wind
..leaves floating high as they twist and spin.

Smiles turn to fangs in what is a blink
..happy pastels now turn to dark ink.

Afternoon clouds are closing the pages
...creatures are fading in peculiar stages.

Tomorrow will bring a new chapter to light
..where you are the owner of all to re-write
