With every snow flake.....

by Victoria E. Miera
(Aurora , Co)

The air grew chill, snow would fall soon a memory of yesteryear would come floating down, with every snow flake. One by one unlocking a memory she tried in vain to lock away.

With every snow flake a memory, of day's gone by, of promises never to be. Laughter still rings in her ears, as a cool chill fills the air. The beat of her heart holding secrets near and dear.

A winter star twinkling over a hill, memories came floating down one by one in every snow flake, a smile creeps upon her face, as a memory escapes it's hiding place.

In vain she tries to lock it away, the sound of laughter ringing in her ears, memories of day's gone by. The air grew chill, as snow would fall soon, memories and promises made in another time and place, would come flooding back with every snow flake.

The beat of her heart holding secrets near and dear, memories she tried in vain to lock away, memories came floating down with every snow flake, one by one slowly floating down, unlocking memories and promises never to be.

A winter star twinkling over a hill, taking her to another time and place, as a smile creeps upon her face, as a memory escapes it's hiding place. She tries in vain to tuck it away, only to find the smile still remains upon her face.

The memory she tried to hide, was a memory of you, and promises never to be, with every snow flake you came floating back into her heart, unlocking your memory, as your laughter rings in her ear. Bringing a smile upon her face...
