WORDS FAIL

What can I say of Our Father in heaven
What can I say, not already spoken
Lines and lines of poetry
Praise Our Lord Almighty..

The Bible gives us words
Of Psalms and the Proverbs
Try try as I may
There's never more I can say.

I'd love to write the poetry
Expressing love from me
That says how much I care
That He and I could share.

I don't have the elegance
That might gain His acceptance
Thus all I can do is pray
And say, I love you more & more today...
