WORK IN PROGRESS

As we walk through this life of ours
We look to find ways to make sense
Of who we are and what we’ve become
Battles we fight working to overcome

Life is a struggle with no promises made
At the end of the day with a little help
We can look in the mirror with a smile
To enjoy each day’s victory for awhile

Tomorrow will be a new day of its own
With many new challenges that’s for sure
As each day passes we hope for progress
Eyes set forward so we don’t regress.

Tomorrow’s goals need to be set today
Otherwise we have nothing to live for
Life is a grand adventure to be enjoyed
Without a purpose motivation is destroyed.

No matter what the past circumstances were
Today is a new day so bury that of yesterday
Time to gain a new perspective without stress
Success and happiness is a work in progress.
