Xiăoxīn

by Jayson Fire (Jay Cash Giles Griffin)
(New Zealand (Gisborne))

As autumn sheds its leaves
like golden swords departing sheaths,
I see you change

As winter spreads its wings
like a hornet when it stings
we rearrange

Alone within silence of my dismay
I reach out, but you seem
so far away..

Your eyes speak all the lies
your silver tounge can't say,
was my love so easy to betray ?
