You in Me

by Rohit Mazumdar
(Kolkata, Vizag )

Once, I was lost in a mystical gardern,
Leaving me exultant.
With a belief,
That you live in every leaf.
But when I touched,
It restrain,
Again and again.
I ran from one bend,
to another end.
But when I touched,
It restrain,
Again and again.
I went in a new direction
To find a new connection;
And I realized your scent,
Coming through my heart's vent.
I closed my eyes to look within,
You reside in my heart's skin.
Now when I touched,
It never restrain
Again and again.
