You Loving You

by Eden Kassa
(Washington, D.C.)

It's when your heart and mind finally choose to agree.

It never made sense like where the sand ends and the shore meets.

Intertwined but so foreign...

But then there was peace within a gentle sigh of relief.

When your feelings didn't have to make sense

And your heart listened to your mind and your mind loved your soul

You emotions wanted guidance but broke all the molds.

In confusion and in doubt, they learned to dance.

Thoughts and wants smiled and there entered serene romance.
