You Treat Me

by Vaughn M. Patterson
(Jamaica)

You treat me as if you don't want me
but yet deep down I know you do.
you treat me like a boy who
is just your friend,
and follows you around all day at school
but don't worry,
my love will one day end.
You treat me like a teacher
and if she doesn't come to class
we don't learn anything about each other.
You treat me so badly that
when you're around your friends
you don't say hi or bye
when you pass me by you hold your head
and not even look a site.
you treat me like a trash,
heap me up
put me in a pile
just like the other guys.
You treat me so!
It is awful that I can't forget
how much I love you!!
